348A Yonge St M5B 1S5,
I just give them 2 stars because their bubble tea used to be good. But now they don't allow you to customize your tea anymore. All the competitors offer the option of not adding ice. I don't understand how is that helping their business, but anyway...I tried going back 2.times, but this news I didn't appreciate at all
Love having BOTH big and small boba for a drink! This bubble tea has a well balance of brown sugar and milk. With the cream mousse, the bbt is neither too liquidy or too thick.
I'd go back again. From what I understand this tastes exactly like the one from overseas.... Nevertheless I've never been so can't speak to it. What I will say is I very much enjoyed it and will go back next time I'm in the area. Only reason they're getting a 4 star is because there was a bit of a line when we got there / a wait to get the drink/ very small store. Enjoy people!
TIGER SUGAR has finally arrived in Toronto with their drool worthy brown sugar boba drinks!! Made with fresh milk and cream, the drinks are rich, smooth, and super creamy! And most importantly, their brown sugar tapioca are to die for!! They are soft, chewy, and full with brown sugar syrup! Remember to shake 15 times before drinking! The moment you sip the drink, you will taste the aromatic flavour of brown sugar and it's literally heaven in a cup. Get ready to taste the power of the tiger!
Ordered the regular bubble tea for my girlfriend. She loved the taste, although a bit too sweet. She has been to the locations in Singapore and Malaysia, and appreciated the fact that this one in Toronto didn't really have a line.
WARNINGThis place is addictive. I particularly like the mini pearl and the whipped milk instead of regular milk they put into the drink.Amazing brown sugar that gives your tastebuds instant satisfaction. Although I wish they have a loyalty program like the other bubble tea place. Just to keep me coming back. For now I am going to venture to the new bubble tea places popping up all over the city ! But will be back here for sure!
Was with my 2 nieces who are addicted to bubble tea and even though they already had one earlier in the day, I thought we could try this place. I have to admit I was nervous when I figured out that they didn't have the wide breadth of flavour other bubble teas have and my 16 year old nieces are picky AND like flavours like strawberry milk or purple yam. However, they were game and we waited a bit in this tiny establishment as it was busy as hell. No greater compliment from a teenager than saying to me, "I didn't think I would like it but it's actually really good." The drink comes all frothy which streaks beautifully down into the tea and bubbles creating i guess the tiger striping. I had the small bubble version which was different and the girls had the regular bubble version. Verdict - the tea was amazing and creamy and also not what I expected. Definitely trekking to the North York location.
sometimes too sweet but the black sugar boba black tea latte is pretty good
Definitely lived up to the hype. Best brown sugar boba I’ve had hands down. The pearls stayed chewy and sweet long after the drink was mixed, unlike versions made at other spots
I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse. You can't really adjust sugar levels in the drink so that can be problematic to people who prefer lower sweetened levels. I absolutely loved the drink. It was rich, creamy, and sweet. I found it to be just the right amount of sweetness. The milky flavour of the drink was nothing I've ever tasted before. The cream mousse definitely brought a unique element to the drink. I savoured every sip.
The best tapioca I've had. Definitely order light ice though or else they'll overdo it
I was part of the hype train when Tiger Sugar announced a Toronto location. Their shop is very small and they sport a tiger themed decor with the black and gold fixtures and uniforms. You could fit maybe 4-5 people comfortably at a time. That being said - it is bubble tea, so it's not like you need a place to sit, but it would be nice; especially during the cold seasons. Expect Tiger Sugar to be very busy, even during off time hours. It's well worth the wait though. Their signature drink - Brown Sugar Boba with Pearl Milk and Cream Mousse is crazy good. It's basically diabetes in a cup, but me and my friends love it. The tapioca is soft, while sweet and chewy. Some people may feel the Brown Sugar series is a bit too sugary for them and that's okay - there are other drinks without brown sugar. When I'm in Toronto, I always make it a point to stop by Tiger Sugar for my bubble tea fix. Tiger Sugar is one of the bubble tea shops I highly recommend.
Very high quality Bubble Tea. I got the bestseller which is Black Sugar Coffee Jelly plus Boba plus Pearl with Cream Mousse. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. The cashier/owner was really friendly and explained everything well. Only thing I didn’t like is that ice and sugar cannot be customized to your liking (I like less ice and more sugar). Keep in mind it is a tiny place so you can’t sit down; just pick up and go.
Small size (smaller than my hand), large prices. Drink tastes very watery and diluted, even though they used measuring tools. Yang’s is much better for this. Sorry Tiger, won’t be coming back.
Black Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse: $7.35 (with tax). The staff is very polite and helpful.I had their most popular drink and it lived up to my expectations. It's better than brown sugar bubble tea at The Alley or Coco.Unfortunately there are two problems:- there is only one size of bubble tea (some sort of middle between regular and large) and it comes with lots of ice that cover the tapioca at the bottom and make it hard to pick them up with the straw (I don't know if you can ask for less ice)- the shop is small. Only four people can sit and there are no real tables so using your laptop can be difficult
Not a regular Milk tea place!!! Place is pretty small, but stuff is very efficient! They suggest options while not making a huge line to appear. Super milky taste, the foam on top makes it taste even more. Cold Drinks come only in one size which is small. Hard to get toppings out, most of mine were still in the cap when I finished the drink. Price is quite expensive, for small drink they charge about $7. Not my type of bubble drink
Tasty drink, loved the creamy texture and both pearl sizes! We did find it a little bit too much ice... But overall it looks and taste great!
